Polytek? liquid mold rubber and casting materials are used in many aspects of taxidermy to produce realistic wildlife and themed environments. Silicone mold resistant rubber is most commonly used to make real or sculpted antlers, claws, feet, noses, stones and other landscapes and many other flexible molds that need to be replicated in plastic or foam.
Casting materials such as EasyFlo series urethane plastic and PolyFoam urethane foam are then poured into these silicone molds to create finished parts for display.
